Where Tiimo shines
Tiimo is a lovely app. It won iPhone App of the Year at Apple’s 2025 App Store Awards, and you can see why the second you open it. Your day is a soft, colourful timeline with icons, and it feels calm rather than busy. Their own words are a planner “for every neurotype”, and it shows in the care they’ve taken.
It’s also everywhere Apple is. There are proper apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, plus the web, and since May 2026 a rebuilt Android app. There’s a visual focus timer, mood tracking so you can reflect on how the day felt, widgets, and an AI co-planner that turns a jumble of thoughts into steps with time estimates.
If a gentle, good-looking schedule is the thing that gets you to open a planner at all, Tiimo is a great pick. Have a look at tiimoapp.com.
Where Yoodoo is different
We built Yoodoo for the bit after the plan. Making a nice schedule is one job. Sticking to it when your brain has other ideas is another, and that’s where we’ve spent our time.
So Yoodoo has an app blocker that locks the apps that eat your mornings, on a schedule or the moment you start focusing. We couldn’t find one in Tiimo. Ask Yoodoo plans your day when you just say it, files things into lists, breaks big tasks into tiny steps and ticks your habits. And calendar sync goes both ways with Pro, so your tasks show up in your calendar too. Tiimo imports your calendars, which is great for seeing meetings, but it’s one way.
Habits in Yoodoo forgive you. Miss a day and your run keeps going, as long as it isn’t two in a row.
When your day falls apart
This is the real difference. Every ADHD plan breaks at some point. The meeting runs over, you didn’t start, the morning just went.
In Yoodoo, Fix my day notices. It asks one question, what actually happened, then fits the rest of your day around it. Meetings and anything you’ve locked never move. Your most important thing is protected. What doesn’t fit goes to Anytime or tomorrow, never into a red pile. It’s one tap, and it’s in Lite, the free version.
Tiimo handles this differently. You can drag things around and use Review Today to see what’s left, and on iOS and the web you can tell the co-planner you’re running late and it reshuffles the day for you. That’s a good approach. Ours just asks less of you when you’re already frazzled: Yoodoo spots it, you tap, done.
Price
On the US App Store, Tiimo’s yearly plan is $54 and there’s a monthly option too. Prices vary by country. The 7-day trial comes with the yearly plan, and there’s a free version on iPhone and Android.
Yoodoo Pro is $59.99 a year, $7.99 a month, or $149.99 once for lifetime. Everyone gets Pro free for their first week. After that, Lite is free for good, with the timeline, Fix my day and the focus timer. See Pro.
Switching from Tiimo
You don’t need to move anything by hand.
- Bring your calendar in. Your meetings become the fixed points on your timeline.
- Brain dump your lists. Type everything that was in Tiimo, star what matters, and swipe it onto today when it’s ready.
- Talk your day. Say what’s on and Yoodoo builds it around your calendar.
- Block your phone for the mornings you always lose.
Then the first time something runs over, try Fix my day. That’s the moment you’ll know which app fits.
